Favourite images....

The Bird species gallery is a collection of my better images of UK birds arranged alphabetically via the left hand menu. Whilst virtually all the images have been taken in the UK, one or two and this will be noted, were taken elsewhere. This listing is aimed primarily at picture editors, web managers and publishers who may be interested in original work and birders who wish to browse good quality images of common and rare species.

All images are strictly copyright and may not be copied, downloaded or used for any purpose without my permission. All are displayed at a low resolution but of sufficient quality for evaluation. Many pictures will be cropped from original images and this should be noted if images in a particular orientation are required. Emphasis for many species is on the individual bird but crops featuring more of the particular habitat or surroundings will be available on request. Full frame files are always available in either RAW, tif or jpg for picture editors who wish to remain in control of the format /size of the final image.
